Like a lot of people here, I bought OEM skid plates to replace the cheapos that came on my LCLC.

What should I expect to be charged to have the Toyota dealer install them? (I'm just trying to avoid sticker shock.)

You can buy those from dealers/toyota online stores and install them by yourself (very easy as much as you know how to tighten the bolts ;)
Give your LC the true love (“slide underneath of her”) 😆

Do it myself? Nah, BTDT . . . and besides, it is too frickin' cold in my garage.

I bought my own online and installed myself, but I did get a quote from my dealership originally - $120 labor per skid + MSRP on the skids (total around $1100ish). I saved roughly $500 by buying online and installing myself (with a friend, and a 6-pack)

Six bolts per skid. It should take no more than 10 minutes per skid to remove the old part and put on the new part for a Toyota Tech. So, 20 minutes of shop time should be ample. Let's say the shop rate is $150/hour, that'd be about $50 labor. Even if you say 30 minutes time, that's only $75.

I also bought mine online - $570 total (I picked them up from Ed Martin Toyota in Indianapolis). Installed them myself. Easiest job ever.

Here are the part numbers and my cost:
PT228-60242 Lndc Frskp $313.50
PT228-35241 Taco Lndc Skpl Under $256.50

I'm attaching the installation instructions, which are useful.

Im looking in to skid plates also, it is my understanding that the Toyota eng skid needs to be removed to change the oil,
Is that true?

Yes. Remove 4 bolts, loosen two bolts, and then drop the skid plate. This is easier than removing the covers on a CR-V to change the oil. Or a lot of other modern cars, all of which have covers that need to be removed to change the oil.
