Carrying extra fuel

I don't have any specific recommendations at this time, but experience has taught me that you mount your spare fuel above your filler neck so gravity does all the work when the time for a transfer comes.

What did you buy to get that setup? It looks perfect for my use?

I haven't seen anything like that for the LC. The pic was of my FJ Cruiser.

I'm curious about the Sea Sucker mounts for Rotopax cans. I saw them at SEMA and they claimed that they drove all the way across the country with gas cans and a bunch of other accessories on their show vehicle. Very easy to add or remove, but are there any drawbacks?

I don't think I'd want to have a tank of gas trying to pull off my window? All that's holding it on is glue? I'd much rather have a holder attached to the roof rack so that's supporting the weight and the suction cup on the window is only pressing in.

Same thoughts. I only used side molle panels, or roof rack, or hitch-mount spare tire carrier for extra fuel tanks

I saw many advertising videos about seasucker mount with heavy stuffs, but I don’t have that confidence yet.
I experienced that once awhile I had to pump the air out of those suction cups to have super “intacts” (on my side molle panel), especially, in severe temperatures (above 100F or below 15F)

I maybe wrong…but when rough off-roading, I want 200% everything secure mounted to my rigs

SeaSucker is fine for cupholders or whatever but I would never trust window adhesive or paint bonding to hold anything substantial.

I have had great success using the 1 gallon on my longer backcountry dirt bike trips.

Mounting a Rotopax to a rear half ladder seems like it would work (possible gravity feed?) This one is from Nashfab/Ladder Frame.
