Carrying extra fuel

I'm curious about the Sea Sucker mounts for Rotopax cans. I saw them at SEMA and they claimed that they drove all the way across the country with gas cans and a bunch of other accessories on their show vehicle. Very easy to add or remove, but are there any drawbacks?

I don't think I'd want to have a tank of gas trying to pull off my window? All that's holding it on is glue? I'd much rather have a holder attached to the roof rack so that's supporting the weight and the suction cup on the window is only pressing in.

Same thoughts. I only used side molle panels, or roof rack, or hitch-mount spare tire carrier for extra fuel tanks

I saw many advertising videos about seasucker mount with heavy stuffs, but I don’t have that confidence yet.
I experienced that once awhile I had to pump the air out of those suction cups to have super “intacts” (on my side molle panel), especially, in severe temperatures (above 100F or below 15F)

I maybe wrong…but when rough off-roading, I want 200% everything secure mounted to my rigs ;)
