So starting a thing where a Toyota Land Cruiser Flag needs signatures has only 2 owner sign offs. (see attached) Looking to get sign ons from others. Planning a trip to acquire some signatures along the way and meet a few TLC owners. Leaving Delaware to Florida Keys Jan 3rd 2027.
So if your interested and live along the way. Reply and as we get closer see if we can connect for coffee and get your John Hancock !

Sounds neat! I think you missed the attachments?

Well if you make it down this way I’d be game. There are a few of us in the VB/Chesapeake/Hampton Roads area.

On another note, it’s September and you’re seeking signatures… I’m getting some Chief Season PTSD going. Someone in here will get this. IYKYK

As a blue shirt looking on from the outside, it was always lots of scary folks running around with mysterious little wooden boxes 😆

I’m down for this! I live in Nothern Virginia so let me know if you make it here.
Will be taking the main line down. Stopping for some fishing on the way. So anyone near I 95 or any good fishing hot spots is a definite maybe...

They’re vessels, and them things ain’t little 😂

I always thought the “mystery” was silly, but choose to respect the secrecy out of respect for those who actually see the value in it. My kids and close family have all been in it, and my kids took some creative liberties with the contents. Some take it absurdly serious, but I’m not one of those guys. Also an anchor chucker so it tracks. I think the whole point was lost and the origins are far from secret to anyone looking. Those “scary folks” were just “scared folks” themselves.

I think them being scared was what made them scary. Like a cornered wild animal: a chief select proving themself amongst their soon to be peers can be a dangerous creature!

I never took those things overly seriously either, but I did always value the customs and traditions, and look back on them with fondness.

In all seriousness. When the last signature is acquired. That lucky LC owner gets to keep the flag as a memento....
So he or she can fly it on the trail. As a Land Cruiser Forum Super Star !!))

I think you should fly it, especially considering you’ll be the one to have met the most of us. In all seriousness, if you posted a day/time, or a few days/times along the way down for a cruiser meetup off of I-95… well I’d be down. I-95 is about a 2.5 hour drive for me if I’m catching you south of Richmond

Agree, and will comply as much as possible. Not expecting anyone to go out of thier way. This is kind of a lark, so its intent is only to generate some interest. No big deal... It would be interesting to meet a few of you but not at any inconvenience to anyone...
