Camping in the Land Cruiser?

Where did you get that flap that folds out over the rear bumper? Been looking for that for a while. Is that Toyota OEM ?
It’s OEM and came with the LC FE. Here’s one on eBay but you could probably also buy from Toyota:

This is my set up. I built a little platform so that its level with the seats. I built it out of 2x4's and plywood, and then covered it in felt like you would cover a subwoofer box with. ordered it from amazon. Really easy to do for less then 100 bucks. I also added adjustable legs to it so that if your on uneven surfaces you can adjust. You can do this just wider if multiple people are sleeping. I have yet to take the wife and kids but when I do ill do a wider platform and mattress etc. Slept like a baby - Pro tip there is a company called snap shades - they sell custom shades that with the LC 250 so that when your camping you can crack the windows and no bugs etc will come in. If you want the specs on how i built it shoot me a message. Happy Camping!
Exactly how I have mine setup. I'm looking to add potentially a custom mattress to mine from one of these boutique van companies that offer that sort of service. I use a modified memory foam mattress to fill the floor height gap. Very low added weight and comfortable for two people. If it was just me I'd buy a low profile cot that often works perfectly to fill the gap and be level.

It was OEM on the '24 First Editions. I don't have a part number, but I am sure that you can find it online. It seems to work well to protect the inside of the hatch, and the bumper when lifting things up and into the back.

I ended up removing the second-row seats entirely and building a simple plywood platform supported by adjustable legs. It took a little trial and error getting the leg lengths just right, but the result is extremely solid and provides a nice flat sleeping/storage area without giving up much usable space.
