I love the look of this bumper but hard to believe the radiator is getting proper air flow.

Good point. I believe the bumpers shown here are prototypes. It will be interesting to see how they design for that.

Well I pulled the trigger and ordered the rear bumper from Expedition One. This is the double swing design and I will be mounting the spare tire on the passenger side. The driver's side swing will not be in place for daily driving, but I got the Teton bundle with the two Jerry can holders for extended trips. This is my solution to the very low fuel range. Going to be a couple of months to receive this, but really looking forward to it.
Right now I'm strongly looking at the DV8 Front bumper. Really keeps the stock look with both winch and light bar mounting. Also, I believe this is a very fair price. Hope to get that on order in the next month or so. Still recovering from the price of the rear bumper.

The Dissent bumpers look pretty great. No personal experience with them, but they seem well thought out and address the camera both front and rear. Rear bumper has a modular swing out with options.

Installed the DV8 front bumper with their 20" light bar and a 12,000 lb. Bad Lands winch. Install wasn't too bad. spent most of the day and didn't hurry. This bumper works perfect with the Greenlane skid plate. Still waiting on the Expedition One rear bumper with double swings. On order since 1/6/25. Last update was shipping late April.
great LOOK. Do you guys know if there are any great shops that would install it, somewhere not far from Quebec???
Does this DV8 bumper remove any of the original protection or crash bars ?
Their website mention ''Minor cutting is required for installation''. What as to be cut exactly ?

The original internal bumper is removed and not reused. With the DV8 bumper, there will no longer be protection outside of the more narrow bumper. So basically under the headlights, there is no longer any protection there.
Cutting is pretty simple. With a sharp utility knife just cut away the silver portion of the lower grill. There is a bit of a groove on the backside of this grill and cut right along it. See RED cut line below.
Ok thanks cobweb for the info. I have to say that losing the internal bumper is a bit of a turnoff for me...
I have the greenlane skid plates too. I was also eyeing thr DV8 bumper and am glad to hear it works with the skid plates. Awesome!
How are you liking the DV8 20" light bar? Did you get the Halo Elite with accent strip? I'm seriously considering this light.

@cobweb Have you installed your Expedition One bumper? I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. And if you can post tons of pictures, that would be awesome. I’m looking at this rear bumper and the Victory 4x4 dual swing and want to hear what people think.

These look cool for strictly on-road use, but for off-roading they would be a damage multiplier / liability. You don’t want anything that will grab onto rocks/trees/etc.Looks like one of the tuning shops in Japan (Kuhl) has come up with a couple of tubular bumpers. Not sure how they bolt on or structural integrity but they look cool as hell.
