Bump at Complete Stop

Just curious...

I've noticed occasionally / intermittently that when I come to a complete stop, I will feel a bump. It's as if someone has bumped me from behind.

I had this issue on my 2nd gen Tacoma, which later Toyota issued anTSB to correct the known problem.

Has anyone else been experiencing this?

It will get better over time. It is likely related to the break in procedure of transmission and/or electric motor's clutch.

I noticed the same thing. I thought I just wasn’t putting my foot down hard enough on the break.

I’ve noticed it several times. Seems to be less of a problem over time.
