Hey everyone,
Has anyone experienced an issue where, while braking, you occasionally feel a slight jerk just before the vehicle comes to a complete stop? In the Land Cruiser Hybrid, model 1958 2025.

It's normal. Many users have reported it. I have the same jerking feeling when coming to a stop. It gets a little better over time. Can't remember exactly what the cause is, but has to do with the hybrid system.

Sometimes the transition from automatic braking (not sure of the correct terminology) and manual braking it's a little tough to smoothly transition. A bit herky jerky.

It’s the transition from hybrid regen braking to hydraulic braking. Hybrids seem to suffer from poor tuning for whatever reason. It does seem to get better over time but it will randomly come back.

Hahahaha.

FYI, after 11 months of ownership, I've realized its a user error thing, there's a BIG adjustment/break-in period with the LC. There's a very particular motion to apply the brakes to make sure you don't over do it and feel the "hump" as I call it. Eventually your mind adjustments to LC breaking method and all is well :)

Hardest part of a new vehicle to break in is the driver...

I was going to say, I've never experienced this. But this is our third hybrid, that's probably why -- I already make slow stops out of habit to optimize regenerative braking.
