LC is not 4 weeks old, less than 1000 miles and I first noticed it the second day I owned it.

Here's the symptom. Only happens the first drive of the day when it's cold. Backing out of my condo parking space (see avatar picture) and starting to turn the steering wheel and applying the brake I hear a squeal that appears to be coming from the drivers side front wheel area.

It stops when I put it in drive and never hear it again the rest of the day. Generally forget about it until the next time I back out.

This morning my wife drove it and I could hear it from inside our condo and it was a little longer lasting. I need to get it checked out.

Any ideas?

Well documented issue - search these forums for "brake squeal" for a few thousand comments on the matter.

Toyota has issued a service bulletin (TSB) with directions for your dealaership to fix. Many dealerships are dismissive of the issue because it is impossible to reproduce outside of your first moments of the drive a day so you'll never be able to roll into the shop and show them the squeal. Take a video of the squeal happening, maybe do it a few days, then bring that.

A decent dealership will know of the issue and provide the fix for you.
