Would like to install some grill lights, however; am reluctant to pull my front bumper assembly to achieve this.
These guys in Australia appear to have a decent solution ( Spotlight/Lightbar Mount - Prado 250 Series - Behind GrilleNo Spotlights Mount Only ).

Unfortunately, they dont ship to USA. Some of the LC savants at this site could probably whip-up something like this in an afternoon, but I'm not nearly so skilled lol! Is anyone aware of a similar product sold in the US market?

TIA

Interesting video. Yes, those mounts could be made in most metal shops. Another way would be if you go with a bull bar or grill guard. Most come with pre drill holes for mounting misc and sundry light items.
Good luck!

My primary concern when doing grill light bar was least impact to overall cooling airflow. North American LC w/ T24A is really busy in the upper grill area that the Aussies are putting lights. Appears to me that the upper grill area is the primary air flow path - having temperature shutters, radiator, intercooler & AC condenser directly behind. Upper would be great for light output, but that area is also really busy w/ Lidar, cameras, crush sensors & mechanicals. The bumper facia removal is really doable if you take your time.

My LC did a single light bar in the lower grill area mounted as high up as I could. Finally selected M&R brackets & their single row light housing - which was exactly what I had in mind & was really well designed, & light output there is really impressive. Gave a stealthy hide for the light bar, as you have to take a knee to get down to see it. I have it connected to Canbus to come on w/ high beams.

Have to give M&R compliments on their kit. Just goes in easy. They do a nice job w/ instructions for front end disassembly & reassembly - as well there are several videos out there. No question you will certainly know more about the front of your LC after the install!

2nd positive post for M&R lights in front grill. I have two bars with space between them. So far no issues with lights, Bluetooth connectivity, or cooling issues for truck.

You do have to totally remove the front bumper to install them.

I had a local off road shop do the install. No issues.

Lol, that’s what I’m trying to avoid (like prostate exam, telling the truth to question “does this dress make me look fat”, or that 50 peso burrito after a 6 -pack of cerveza in Tijauna)!

Unfortunately I don’t have any trusted installers in my area that I’m aware of, who have done several of these or similar in the recent past. At least if I did it, I know I’d be going slow and with utmost care. Even so, I’m convinced at job end I’d be left with several anchors, screws, bumper gaps, and the like.

The M&R folks are helpful and I’d be quite happy buying their product. Maybe I’ll start googling for installers in 150 mi radius and see what turns up.
