Is it just me, or is that a crazy high volume of churn given the low production numbers? I guess the good news is that the pricing for used is still right around new sales pricing…
I did an Autotrader search for all used, certified used, and third-party certified used Land Cruisers 2024 and newer nationwide and it showed 483 results.
Taking the 2024 and 2025 numbers from here, total came to 44,529. Based on Auto Trader for 483 results, that's 1.08%. Not a fully accurate result only using Auto Trader numbers...but is that higher than average? I honestly don't know.
Many people have to have the latest greatest. The 4 runner just came out so they’re looking at getting one cause no one else has it yet. They will mod it with a lift, big tires, roof rack, and light bars just like they did their lc 6 months ago. Then when the scout hits the showroom floor they’ll look to sell and get the scout. It’s a continuous cycle.
