So.. 7,000 miles (and roughly one year) of no CarPlay issues and now I'm getting 'Connection Interrupted'? It worked fine until I went in yesterday to get a chip filled in my windshield. Driving away, the CarPlay bingo'ed out. I can't for the life of me imagine anything they would have done to break it?

I system reset the LC, and my phone... got it to work for one trip. As soon as I got in again, same deal. The LC keeps turning off the wi-fi for some reason? I have not tried to do a software update, and I'm not connected to any of the data services or apps.

Anyone else have this specific problem? TIA!

I get that all the time. I hard wire it in and that makes it a lot better. FWIW, I had similar issues with the Carplay in my 2022 BMW. It's CarPlay not Toyota.

I downloaded IOS 26 beta this week. Was afraid of problems with new CarPlay. So far it’s worked great. The only time I have had CarPlay trouble in the past was running SiriusXM on CarPlay. It glitched or locked up a lot. Everything else has worked perfectly.
I got in the habit of running SXM just from the radio setting and not CarPlay and everything else from CarPlay but it has been a pain. I need to get Sirius on the updated CarPlay and see if it’s better - and also may be 100% Toyota

Thanks all.. it might be my phone. I did just get a new line (2nd sim card) on it and maybe that's the issue? I'll dig further.
