AlphaRex LC250 Headlights — Now Available for Pre-Order | LC250Mods.com

Has anyone swapped their stock headlights for the heritage edition? Our LC is coming in soon and I was hoping to see or hear more impressions of these, though surprisingly I can find very little when searching this site and general Google searches. Specifically curious about how the DRL's work. Is there a switch to change between amber and white? Or do you choose one or the other upon install? Any info detailing performance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
The DRLs are swappable between white and orange by simply connecting (or disconnecting) a wire inside the headlight module. It comes disconnected so by default the DRLs are white. You would have to remove the headlight to access the wires though so its not easily interchangeable.

I did notice some "Power Dry" desiccant packets stuffed inside the headlight too, so I'm curious about the long-term reliability of these headlights. I'm sure they added those packets as a result of condensation complaints on previous AlphaRex headlights

The desiccant packets are actually very common even in OEM headlight rebuilds & retrofits like what Lightwerkz does. Almost all modern headlights are vented, meaning humidity is free to come in and out to prevent the pressure and temp deltas that lead to condensation forming inside. These help to keep that at bay on humid days.

So far I'm really liking everything I'm seeing on these headlights--they seem to be a massive step in the right direction compared to some of AlphaRex's older stuff. If anyone has issues with any they get through me, I will make sure you're taken care of.

Thanks for the info! Looks like you opted for white. In general, happy with the output?
