Has anyone attempted to install a kill switch for disabling ABS when off-roading? Context is that ABS is not something you want kicking in on soft sand, particularly when descending sand dunes. Long pressing traction off completely kills traction control but not ABS.
In my previous FJ, the relatively simply electronics made it a breeze to intercept the ABS fuse and wire it to a switch. Our ABS fuse seems to be connected with other systems, and I don’t want to fool around with it and break other key functionality. Tacoma owners seem to suggest that messing with those fuses also kills 4Hi/Lo switching functionality.
Any suggestions would be highly welcomed.
