265 on oem 1958 trim wheel

more choice of tires in 265 how will that fit on my base 1958 wheel? thank you all for the help amd advice
It fills out the wheel wells much better than the thin stock 245s, handles soft ground better, and actually corrects the speedometer.

I run 265 70 R18 on my 1958, they fit great. The spare tire does not lat flat tho. There is a small stamped steel bracket spot welded under the truck to help hold the stock 245 in place and it keeps the tire from laying flat like it should. It's not a big deal but the tire sits a little lower toward the bumper. I'm sure it could be removed, but I wasn't gonna mess with it. It would be interesting to know if that's just a 1958 thing because of the smaller tire the 1958 comes with vs. the standard LC and Fe versions.

This is my 1958 with 265/70-18 Wildpeak’s on it. I have had no problems out of them.
