2028 Nissan Xterra 👀 New Forum!

We had two Xterras (including one with a stick) and our kids learned to drive on them so I have a soft spot in my heart for them.

Nissan intends to price the new Xterra under $ 40k and is aiming directly at the Wrangler/ 4Runner / Bronco market. Be interesting to see what they ultimately come out with.

Nissan seems to have lost their focus over time … the early hard body Pathfinders from the 90’s were great trucks and were worthy competition to the 4Runners. But since then they seem unable to decide what the Pathfinder should be, while the 4Runner has succeeded by staying true to its roots.

I love my LC but am also hoping Nissan does come out with something truly “bad ass” as they’ve been hinting.

Any info on whether Mitsubishi’s Super Select is coming to this or any other Nissans in North America?

I lived near Detroit when the introduced the first one, we saw it at the Detroit Auto Show. I rented one a few times and really liked it, but eventually ended up with first a Subaru and then an FJ Cruiser. I’ll be interested to see what they come up with.
