Hello. A weird metallic resonance has developed on the right side of my LC (non -driver side). Infrequent, but sometimes occurs on acceleration from a standing start, or negotiating a turn. Nothing while driving over a smooth surface at steady state. Maybe a loose bolt causing metal attachments to shift? Not sure. Will bring it in for service for further diagnostics, but wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. Thanks.

Hey Marc,
Check the bolt torque on your skid plates (especially if you have just gotten an oil change). 27 ft/lbs. I was hearing an intermittent rattle/clang after a weekend of washboard roads and it turned out one of my transmission skid plate bolts had almost walked out.

Thanks Blue Sky. I just had an oil change. Makes sense, particularly since the noise started right after I did some mild off-roading in low 4 wheel drive.

Also check the inner shroud (inboard of the rotor) on the front brakes doesn’t have something pressing it against the rotor.
