2024+ Land Cruiser Trail Dust Photo Thread

Finally brought home my 25 Trail Dust! Slapped on all the parts I had been collecting lol.

I pick up my Trail Dust LC250 in about an hour. I have drooled over SCS wheels for years. I’m thinking I’m going to do the Gen5’s in Matte black. I just need to set realistic goals for the LC250… my 2015 Taco has gotten carried away. Need this one to manage daily use and occasional trail duty as well as pulling a small hiker trailer.

I really wanted a set of F5s in this spec, I ran the 17x9 -38s on my 4runner, but I got a really good deal from Vin (the owner). I'm in the same boat, it's my daily, my wife has to occasionally drive it, sees minor trails for camping, can't get too carried away lol. Hit me up, I found a cheat code for SCS that'll save you some bucks!

We were after a new Land Cruiser for about three months, and found allocations to dealers was really tight in our area- they would all arrive at dealerships already sold. My wife had seen all the available colours online and was set on Brown Sugar Metallic or Wind Chill Pearl, with Underground running a close third. All of the incoming vehicles at that time were either Heritage Blue/Light Grey or Traildust/Light Grey and she was opposed to both of those colour options. I found things to like with pretty much all of the available colours, with the caveat that black would be a little trickier to keep looking its best.

On the off chance she might feel differently after seeing one in-person, I dragged my wife to the dealership to see a sold Land Cruiser model in Traildust. Much to my surprise, she liked it when seeing one "in the metal" so we were able to secure an incoming unit back in June. It has become her favourite colour combo, and much to my surprise she has even said the Heritage Blue is OK after seeing a few examples on the road. Ironically, we had passed on securing both of the two-tone models before she changed her mind.

I'll have to say Traildust has grown on me, with lighting drastically affecting how this colour looks.Thankfully, funds and available parking prohibits adding some of the other great looking colours to the fleet.
