2.4 turbo may be underrated

Found this video for 2.4 turbo in Tacoma (same engine as ours), they found that it nearly puts up the officially posted horsepower and torque numbers at the wheel. This suggests the engine alone is putting 350 horsepower at the crank If we assume 20% drivetrain loss.

The Cruiser spec is "net hp", not sure how they define that???

It is normally reported as secs at crank. At least that is how Toyota reported it in the past. At crank, 2.4 turbo may have more power than the outgoing Tundra V8.

So maybe the Forerunner with the non battery set up is enough for a jeep killer build??
Maybe. Oh wait, the FJ 40-45 is the clear answer.
