I’ve been a Toyota dork for a while. Up until last week my DD has been a pretty built 3rd gen 4Runner (gears, lockers, armor, 33s) and over the last year and a half I’ve been trying to revive a really clapped 1st gen Tacoma rock crawler (supercharged 3RZ, dual cases, 3 linked D44 on coilovers, ARBs, 37s, rust, neglect, etc)
Then I had a baby and suddenly I need a newer, nicer car for the family. I looked hard at 200s but couldn’t justify what low mileage 200s cost, as nice as they are. I haaated the 250s for being hybrids when they were fist released, but then we test drove one and I realized it actually makes good sense for what I need. I like it more than I want to admit.
So now I own a damn hybrid
Anyway, the LC will stay stock. I got a screaming deal on some 265/70R18 Wildpeak ATs and have a few stickerfab parts on the way, and am going to get rid of the roof rack, but otherwise I’m just going to do my best to keep it nice and continue ruining my other Toyotas in the woods.
If these things ever get offered with that TTV6 though….
