Got passed by a semi that had water coming off the top of the trailer. Hit my windshield washers, and they left a large smear about 4” wide and 6” long across the bottom outside of the drivers side. Repeated 4 times, and got the same results. Speed was 60 MPH. The washers didn’t provide good coverage for this area. Tried again when I arrived at my destination, and it cleared off the mess after a couple of washer applications.
The last vehicle I had a similar issue with was a 60’s VW bus. It had a rubber bulb on the floor that you stepped on to squirt out the washer fluid.
