I've searched a bit- and haven't found a sound answer - seems like somewhere below 5K - how much below - I know there are other factors as well. I see Dry weight in the 2000's.

What value do you consider as a target.

And please no off subject remarks.

Thanks for your help.

Dont forget hitch weight… id be equally if not more concerned about HW since my LC only has ~1100 lbs payload capacity so a HW of 500-600 leaves only 500-600lbs for passengers and cargo in the car.

Personally I would be comfortable towing an airstream basecamp 20x which has a gvwr around 4200 lbs i think. Thats what ive been looking to buy used.

I should add that i probably wouldnt tow with it full; as i would want it to be closer to the dry weight which is in the 3’s. Personally speaking :)

Caveat: i have not towed with the LC yet. Ive towed with a 28’ trailer and an F150 in the past for about 5k miles.

* i would love to hear from others that have towed - maybe I’m off base and even 4k is too much *
