We pick up our Land Cruiser next week! So excited!
Question - Has anyone modified the truck storage area cover?
Issue - I understand that cover has weigh limit of 132 pounds. Sometimes, I load heavy objects into my vehicle trunk (such as a stone sculpture). When loading such an object the weight usually goes right where this storage cover is. I can shift it off of this area later. Any suggestions on how to not damage this cover?

I saw the Goose Gear system on a new LC friends vehicle this last weekend. A very easy and effective fix.
Nicely finished looks stock.

Adding ill be doing the same with one or both rear seat delete kits.
Pricey however plug and play. A person can do the same with a table saw and some decent wood.

Thank you for this info. I am just looking for solution to the weight limit on the cover of the storage compartment.

I think this limit only applies to the cover for the small storage area at the very back, not the entire cargo area.

Just curious if anyone has any more feedback on goose gear or trekkbox or something else? I like the goose gear cargo cover designโ€ฆ seems pretty well thought through

Saw a pretty complete G Gear set up at a friends house. Good quality everything fits. Not sure what i'll do yet but something Goosey. I liked everything about it.

I'm happy with my Goose Gear. Everything fit like a glove with the exception of a few T-Nuts missing. Was able to install it in a day. Contacted them and spoke to Mark and he send them out ASAP. I purchased the Plate system. Much better than stock floor. I have a slide for my Engel Frig/Freezer.

Glad to hear that, hope they remedy my situation quickly as well.

Does your driver side wing panel have this same gap at the front side of it?

Yes both sides look alike. I don't have pictures though. Bought it on there anniversary sale. Had to wait 10 weeks.

Oh interesting, my passenger panel is shaped completely different and fits like a glove but that drivers side has a big enough gap for a quarter to fall into the frame area.
