Trailhunter wheels on their Landcruiser?

Has anyone installed Tacoma/4Runner Trailhunter wheels on their Landcruiser? I'm curious how much poke and if they rub given their +20 offset? Thanks

They certainly won't rub with stock tires, but likely could with 285/70r18s. I prefer my wheels not to spray mud all over the side of the vehicle, so preferred sticking in the +40 range. Am curious to see how they look on a Trail Dust; might be right on, might be enough off to look weird.

Hey EOD, when you get time would you mind showing the poke on these? I have a lead on a set of 5 for $1,200, but not sure of the offset comparison.

according to google the lc 18 inch wheel spec is et60 and the trailhunter is et20 so there is a 40mm difference between the two. essentially the trailhunter will stick out 1.5 inches more than the oem 18 inch wheel. i went with the tundra/sequoia trd pro bbs wheels and tires which is et47.5 and 285/65r18 and it is flush with the lc prem fender.

that’s roughly what my head math came to as well. At the dealer for 5k service + oil and there’s a guy that went black rhino on his trailhunter here willing to let all 5 go. I’ve got a 1958, so I’m afraid the poke would be crazy even on my 265 grapplers. Now talking to the parts department for a deal on the 4R “XP package” TRD wheels in matte. Pretty sure they are just 4R/Taco TRD Pro wheels. Offset looks more aligned.

if you dont mind the bigger wheel poke the price is very good. if you google land cruiser trailhunter wheels you get a better idea of what it looks like as quite a few people have done it. down the line you can also mod the fenders with addons to make it appear to poke less.

I have and am running 285/70 Toyo AT3's. At stock height there was a little very minor rubbing in reverse. With a 2.5" lift in the front, after alignment there is no rubbing at all.Photos in my profile.

I think SlickLC is spot on..... It's not bad at all and really doesn't throw crap up from the wheels with highway driving.

Those Trailhunter wheels certainly look sharp against the contrasting paint on your Land Cruiser. While I love those wheels on your ride, I love the colour less against Traildust.

Can't disagree with that, I tried to buy a Trail dust, but just wasn't to be, it had been damaged and the dealer wouldn't sell it to me. My FE had been delivered to the dealer the day before and I drove it home, no regrets..............

I did a handshake on them before I left the dealership at around 11. I’ll be picking them up tonight or tomorrow morning. I am not super impressed with the meteor shower/trailhunter bronze contrast in the pics I’ve been able to find, but don’t think they’ll be hard to move of I decide against them. Thanks for the line shot man, that poke ain’t bad at all

They might look sharp with the "silver" center caps vs the bronze center caps. Might be just enough to compliment the MS color. The ones in the pic were bronze and I painted them silver.

...and there is always custom powder coating for a colour change if your deal on the wheels leaves some room in the budget to do so.

In a perfect world I wouldn’t need an entire paycheck to put a set of OT wheels on, which is perfect on MS IMO

I hear you- I have been scouring the interwebz for a variety of OEM wheel choices, but none of my preferred wheels have been coming up for sale.

There are a couple of Toyota wheel designs I can't help envisioning power coated an anthracite grey and mounted up on our Land Cruiser
