Towing with the Cruiser

I’ve got a new tow vehicle and looking forward to getting it out west this summer! The landcruiser is about a magnitude better at towing than my 2021 4Runner TRD pro was.

Trailer is about 3500 pounds dry. I’m doing a 250 mile trip next week in the green mountains and a 500 mile trip in a couple weeks in the Catskills. I’ll have to report back then after going up some very steep terrain. Later in the summer, I have a 5000+ mile trip to Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana. That will be the real test. I’ve done it with this trailer in a 5th gen 4Runner and that was pushing it. I had to keep the RPMs up to get any kind of torque out of the vehicle.
