To Aux Power at the Main Fuse Box or not?

So what's the general consensus about running aux power to the main fuse box? I've seen mix things about this, its either that or run a kit from the back to the front.

All I'm wanting to do is wire in my Garmin power switch to power the following:

- 7 Diode Dynamic SS5s: 2.8 amps each, 3.07 watts each
-2 Diode Dynamics SS3 ditch lights: 1.1 amps each, 14.5 watts each

I don't plan on running a winch for awhile, I know you'll need to run it from the battery. Think I'll be ok with the garmin at the main fuse box?

IMO tapping into the pass side fuse box is perfectly acceptable. You can semi hide the Garmin pwr switch so that it is unobtrusive or mount it to the lid of the fuse box. If you use the link below to my build page you can see how I semi-hid mine.

I have tapped the pax side fuse box for a ham radio. works great.
