Finally decided on the Method 703's in Matte Black for my LC250 in Trail Dust. Looking for advice on tire size options. Stock, no lift. Not brand loyal. Nitto, Toyo, Falken, BFG, etc... Will a 285/70/17 work? I know the 285 likely won't fit for the spare. Appreciate any advice.

What offset are the rims? This will affect greatly what will work. +35 is the most versatile offset in the 703 for the LC

Assuming you are looking at 17 inch rims, here is a thread with some suggestions:

They are +35. Thanks for the link.

I like the Toyo AT3 because of the weight + capability. I have 285/75/17 which fit both while the vehicle was stock + lifted. I did not, however, replace the spare.

I went with Falken WildPeak AT4W in 255/80R17 (E-Load) on Method 703s. (click the link for details. tl;dr) I've been very happy with my wheel/tire combo in all aspects.

I'm pretty certain a 285/70R17 will fit in the spare tire location (do some searching and you'll find someone on the forum has already done it) but it will be tight and you'll lose some clearance and departure angle. Using the pizza cutters improved my departure angle slightly.
