Sorry. I haven't found one. I suspect it's going to be a bit difficult to find. Most likely what everyone is doing is powder coating multiple racks in the booth at a single time.

Most Prinsu style racks have their crossbars anodized black.

Westcott did bronze and black on their show LC. You can probably do something like they did. Call and ask them how they went about it.

I called wescott today and they said they won’t ship raw metal or do any custom coatings

Waiting to hear back from Prinsu still.

Anything the the roof will increase wind noise. Surprisingly, the FE roof rack from Toyota is fairly low noise when comparing it to the other roof racks I've had on various vehicles.

Has anyone tried installing the ARB Base Rack system on an LC250 with a sunroof? The website says it's not designed for use with sunroof, but photos on arbusa.com include a GX with the rack mounted that looks like it has a sunroof. Is it a matter of the glass not being strong enough to support the rack, or rather not being able to use the sunroof with the rack installed?

What happens if one were to install it without the air deflector, which looks like the piece that would most interfere with the sunroof operation? Has anyone tried that? Is the wind noise insufferable without the deflector?

I really like the low-profile and simplicity of the ARB set-up, and much prefer it to the aggressive styling of a lot of the alternatives.

Anyone know if a short-rack alternative is being considered?
