So I find the cool box mostly useless, but driving my son to tour colleges over 1100 miles and over 4 days he found the cool box the best thing ever. I will say the thing works very well - he would toss a warm can in there and within 30 minutes it felt like it was very cold. He used for all kinds of things.
Another outstanding road trip with the LC. This is where this truck really shines - road trips. The comfort of the seats, the assisted driving capabilities, the power when needed. Truly makes what has always been sort of dreaded for me (long road trips), a pleasure and something I look forward to.

Funny. When I first got the LC, I thought.. 'It has a cool box which I don't really see using as it doesn't work when parked'.

Fast forward to now... and I find myself using it more than I thought. One example? One of our dogs gets allergy vaccines twice a week (we administer). It's a haul to the vet, and the vials have to be kept refrigerated. Welp.. got it covered for the trip home!

I use mine all the time as well. Put one of the trays on top where I can store sunglasses, a pen and small notepad, and an extra charging cable. Still leaves room for drinks underneath and seems like it also helps keep the cold in.

It's nice because I can always offer passengers refreshments and saves money because I never buy drinks at convenience stores or drive thrus anymore.

I don't use it much, but I have found it more useful than I originally thought. Especially when my phone overheats from charging. I also found assisted driving to be wonderful on long drives. Takes a lot of pressure off of me.

The assisted driving is the best. I am sure many vehicles offer it. But this is my first time having it - with the LC. I can spend hours driving and still feel fresh when I arrive hours later.
And cooling the overheated phone off - that is a great use for the coolbox.

I really want to hate the cool box. I’m trying my hardest to do so, and I have lots of fuel to fan the flames of hatred: it’s so unnecessary, kills the already minimal interior cubby space, and just feels like a silly luxury.

But I can’t stop loving it.

I actually purposely turn it off driving unless its a 2+ hour drive because it makes it too easy. I don't want to get too used to it every day, but I do love the feature

I thought the same way, until we started traveling more. Yesterday we were at a horse show in Gainesville GA. A couple of hours after getting there, we were both thirsty as the temps were in the mid 80’s. I walked out to Miss Daisy and grabbed a couple of diet cokes out of the cool box. They were still ‘coldish’ and did just fine in our yeti tumblers which we filled with ice beforehand.
