I'm looking for a reliable portable/compact 120volt compressor or rechargeable solution for occasional tire inflation usage. Ideally something that will store in one of the existing rear cubbies (although this may be a stretch. Something that can inflate a tire (275/70/18) from flat up to 35lbs. More for flat tire recovery than for constant re-inflation after lower pressures. There are a million items on the market but would like to know if any members have had good success with any particular models? Thanks for your assistance.

I’ve hesitated to post this in response to any of these inflator threads because I’m sure guys around here use super industrial products and will laugh at my $31 inflator. But here I go.

I have one of these in every car and have had to use them once or twice. They’ll overheat if you try to inflate four cars one by one, but for spot flat repair work they are great.

I recently got the m18 Milwaukee inflator (I’ve got some other m18 based stuff) and it’s probably my favorite I’ve used to date. If you wait for a sale you can get it for around $160.

Not a huge fan of needing a battery since I have a damn plug in the cargo area I could use! But that being said it’s kinda nice to not have to be tethered as you go to each tire or help someone else.

I just keep a spare battery charged up and bring it with if I think I’ll need it.

I’m replacing one of these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MMGLNHC?tag=landcruiserforum-20 I’ve had for 4 or 5 years. Worked well enough airing up 33” tires after off roading. Thought it would be nice not having to access the 12v connection under the LC hood and fuse box, so I ordered the Milwaukee M18 from Home Depot at a good price. Will be here this week.
I actually own one of those, had it for 6-7 years now with very little use (I keep in my Mercedes) It's a good unit, at least the one I have is.

My ideal portable pump would have a digital gauge which can accurately auto inflate/deflate to whatever PSI I choose and also be powered/charged by the AC inverter and fit in the cargo storage or cupholder bins. I would also like to use 3rd party chucks, hoses, and accessories.

I assume I would lose any ability to do simultaneous multi-tire inflation but still want to do four individual tires in a row on a one charge up to 36 PSI in less than 3 minutes. Any of these fit the above criteria?
