Hey folks, I've spent too much time researching storage solutions. I found these two(example 1, example 2) that look to be relatively the same. I like them because they don't block the windows or the rear view mirror. I will say $300 seems a bit much for what they are. But I'd gladly pay it if I knew it was quality. That said, these don't have reviews and aren't from manufacturers that I've read about. Anyone know if these are any good? Or if there are better ones made by more reputable companies(ideally US based)? Thanks!

Like the idea. But if it's a "perfectly fitting" accessory, what's up with the ugly gray foam spacers and lack of level fit?

This molle option comes with a side shelf that extends the rear bottle holders. (The 4th option)

Yea, I actually came across these too. Only issue is that it's quite a bit more shallow of a pocket. And of course I ideally don't want to block the window.

Exactly. I like that it has a screwed in anchor point that I don't need to drill for. But the rest of it seems kind of flimsy. I suppose I can drill and add additional anchors. But the leveling is still concerning.

Might try it and return it if it doesn't work out. Or might abandon for a shelf near the roof at the expense of visibility.

Update: I ended up doing this: 2025 Land Cruiser offering optional liftgate lighting 😡

This cracked me up... excellent.

I went ahead and bought a pair of the storage bins. I had marked them to "watch" on eBay, and as is often the case, got an offer from the seller. I paid $285 shipped.

When I purchased them, the only thing I knew would be intolerable is the way they were installed in the sales photos, with that grey foam tape, but I figured I could work something else out. When they arrived, I was pleased with the design and construction. They have done a fairly decent job of adapting the straight lines of the bins to the curved surfaces of the LC interior. I fabricated a couple little plastic shims, painted matte black, to eliminate the grey foam look and just used a blob of high temperature hot melt glue instead of double stick tape to secure the rear part of the bins.

They are a very practical addition, and they ended up looking not perfect, but acceptable. I am happy with them and will definitely keep them. I am sure they look better than anything I would have fabricated. Sure, a little pricey, but worth it to me.

One thing I did not see noted in the listings is that there are windows to allow access to the USB-C ports.

A few photos to follow...
