Side view mirror misaligned

The other day my wife drove my LC and noticed that the side view mirrors aren’t aligned correctly. I thought she was being crazy at first but turns out she is absolutely correct. When you look at the mirrors, from the front of the vehicle, the mirrors do not “mirror”(heh..) each other correctly. I am asking my dealership to take a look but wondering if others have noticed this? Will try to add photos when I get the vehicle back and if they don’t fix it.

This is normal. The passenger side mirror needs to be angled more due to the driver not being centered in the vehicle. This is why the driver side mirror generates more wind noise. One day I’d like to open up the driver side mirror and see if I can’t angle it a touch more.

Erm… the degree of misalignment is so small that I don’t think that that’s the actually reason why they’re not aligned. It’s enough to be noticed when you look at it but not enough that it would greatly affect the viewing position. I would think that the mirrors themselves can angle to a much greater degree to allow the driver to see them both without any issue…

Pretty sure it's just a mounting thing as the glass is adjustable for a correct viewing angle.

I've never had LC's mirrors off, but on my Taco there was a very slight amount of wiggle room in the mounting holes.

Right on! Yea that’s what I’m thinking as well. Just a slight misalignment issue. In any case, hopefully the dealership will get it fixed or tell me if it’s a “feature” that other LC models have. Hoping it’s not a feature lol…
