Roof nut - Roof Rack Install

Curious if anyone has gotten to any of the roof nuts on the underside? I don’t know if I have one stripped from a roof rack install, and wondering about replacing. Haven’t found a diagram or info of how the roof rail/racks are threaded in. Thanks!

Drop the headliner and you’ll see them. It’s a little bracket that can fairly easily break if you don’t back the roof bolts out evenly.

Thanks! Any info on dropping the headliner? I’ll do a search again, but hadn’t stumbled on anything. Wasn’t sure of timing and best way to go about it. Thanks again!

There are some screws under the visor mounts and you’ll need to drop the reading lamp/sunroof switch consol. Basically anything attached to the liner will need to come off. Depending on which one is broken, the more work you’ll need to do. If it’s in the front you might be able to get enough flex to get to it without messing around the seatbelts and B pillar.
