anybody removed their side moldings? I just dropped mine off at the body shop. LC is a few weeks old.

Has anybody done this? Thinking there might be some discoloration under the moldings from being covered? Any tips to remove? Or idea how long it will last?

I don’t have direct experience here, but I wouldn’t expect to see discoloring that quickly. Again, not certain, but those are probably affixed with some kind of 3m adhesive. If so, slowly warm it up (hair dryer or heat gun on low/medium heat) and then gently peel off. Heat a short section at a time, and take your time to work down the line. After removed, rub any residue off with your finger or a microfiber towel as best you can, and then use a product like Goo Gone to remove anything that remains.

Your sunshine and fingers is probably all you'll need.......LOL They are held on by foam tape, slow/steady peel from one end should be all that's needed and as mentioned above the residue will ball up and easily removed with your finger tip.
