Melroy are you thinking of leaving it off permanently and if so have you figured out the upper brake light?
The spoiler folds into my RTT and had the thought to remove it but cannot find a Toyota brake light kit for running without a spoiler. With Subarus you can remove the spoiler and there is another brake light right kit for running without a spoiler.

I’d be interested in this too, not for any practical reason, it just seems very flimsy to begin with. Or maybe it’s just mine?

I think they all are flimsy, it appears, IDK, they are bolted together and are held onto the hatch with plastic fasteners.
Yea I haven’t delved into it but that’s the impression I had. It wouldn’t take much of an oopsie to really break that thing.

I'm thinking "by design" ....... a plastic mounted spoiler is a lot cheaper than a hatch with a hard mounted spoiler, should that oopsie occur.
For sure, but if there was a more low profile one available at some point I would certainly jump on it. Everytime I close my hatch I can see that thing shudder.
There is LC without spoiler available in some countries, so I guess there is OEM part available.
