Prinsu rack first impressions

It seems like the hardware is bleeding something onto the rack. I’m considering getting stainless mounting hardware - anybody else experiencing this?

Secondly, I’m wondering what will happen in the spring with thaw+ freeze in the rail mounting channel. There is a gap and based on the QC rumours was a drain concern.

I had it installed where I got the tack and they way overtightened. It rubbed off the coating. Anyway, I wouldn’t consider that a design flaw. Wish I had installed it myself

We had a Prinsu on our 4Runner and the hardware did the same thing. They don't ship stainless from the factory, maybe because they powder coat everything? But I would recommend the upgrade to stainless.
