Our center console has started popping when a moderate weight is placed on it, like you would do when repositioning your ass in the seat. Sounds like a lid to jar of pickles. Anyone else's doing this?

Same here too…doesn’t do it a lot, but every time it pops, I think I broke something.

I don’t have the coolbox…just the regular compartment.

Mine also does this if I brace my elbow on it. Do you also have the coolbox by chance?

YES! So glad to hear others are experiencing the same issue (not in a good way.) This has been happening on my FE since DAY 1! I have recreated / physically shown the Service Advisor and Tech at the Toyota dealership I bought it from - they heard it, acknowledged it and the Tech tried to tell me 'That's just how Toyota manufactured it' - Toyota DOES NOT manufacture 'in' cracked internal plastic, squeaks and rattles, quite the opposite actually. I have taken / sent ~5 videos of this issue and heavily documented it with the dealer. They are fighting me on the replacement / repair and said they need to get a Toyota engineer to review the issue in person and wait until there are more complaints before they will fix it - BS. It happens EVERY time I bump it from the side and / or lightly lean on it with my elbow or press on it with my finger. I still have not heard back from the dealer on a fix - has anyone else?

I will definitely mention it when I go in next!

Yea, I think we're all talking about the same thing. I'm fairly certain it's from cracking a piece of plastic on the inside of the lid and I recall specifically when it started happening on mine:
