Seen that, also seen they said that the could calibrate speedo, but for some reason Toyota cant

As with any aftermarket tune, unless it comes from the factory... it ain't gonna be warrantiedAnd confirmation that warranty isn’t voided. I suspect the juice ain’t worth the squeeze.
Per the YouTube (LINK) on a Taco Hybrid which should be same same they improved +40HP & +28TQNeed the improvement data.
You could get approx these same numbers from the AFE boost box which just tricks the vehicle into spooling up more boost, is plug and play, and doesn’t touch the ECU software. As with any aftermarket tune, unless it comes from the factory... it ain't gonna be warrantied

I looks impressive, but since that is off the Dyno, and our LC's are AWD, I wonder if/what the performance difference will be.As with any aftermarket tune, unless it comes from the factory... it ain't gonna be warrantied

Generally these off-the-shelf tunes are pretty conservative, add a touch more of boost and smooth things out. You can find them for most vehicle brands, especially the hot hatch type vehicles (Golfs, Impreza's, etc). I'd be weary of the dealer not being able to see the tune, I always had to remove the tune on my Golf R, WRX and Xterra before going in for services.I looks impressive, but since that is off the Dyno, and our LC's are AWD, I wonder if/what the performance difference will be.
I banged around OTT's site and they really don't give any info on gains, but you have the YT guy who lists a couple of Tacos. Apparently the dealer can't "see" the tune, so if you had an issue, they would have to prove it was the tune that did it, and they would have to dig pretty deep to find it, this is what I gather.
I'm fine with my LC the way it is, and I'm the clown who put a Bank's Pedal Monster on my F150. The results for the non-hybrid Taco are pretty impressive, that would be worth getting.
Apparently OTT hasn't blown up anyone's vehicle, so they actually seem like a pretty solid tuner.
I think they have it down already. It’s Not something new.Generally these off-the-shelf tunes are pretty conservative, add a touch more of boost and smooth things out. I only watched the video once, motion sickness from the camera guy... so I don't know if the #'s were at the wheel or crankshaft, I'm ass-uming wheel.
I'm waiting for someone to go for a Pro-Tune and really push the limits!
Do you have a build thread going? Searched your posts and didn’t see one. Curious about the offset of your wheels and the suspension modifications you have. I hate the poke on my wheels quite a lot, but am hoping that when I eventually lift the truck (and likely add some aftermarket fender flares) it will improve the aesthetics of the poke. Yours looks about like what I’m hoping to achieve. Also, if you’ll forgive more questions - how are you liking the light bar up top?Scheduled to get this tune 8/10/25View attachment 43823
