OK, anyone else going to keep a small bottle of octane booster in their LC?

Since my dealer only delivered my car with a tank of regular, I added some octane booster and decided to keep an extra one in case I have to gas up somewhere that doesn’t have premium (happens in the Wild West). Premium gas around here is at least .50 cents more, so a $4 bottle of octane booster that treats 15 gal. Actually saves a few bucks, not that I would recommend doing this often, just to keep the beast happy.

I think the manual says not to use octane boosters.

I also sometimes end up places where you can only get regular. The main thing the manual says is to avoid too much ethanol (above 15%) and MMT which is often used in octane boosters:

Non-recommendation of the use of gasoline containing MMT
Some gasoline contains an octane enhancing additive called MMT (Methylcyclopentadienyl Manga-nese Tricarbonyl).
Toyota does not recommend the use of gasoline that contains MMT. If fuel containing MMT is used, your emission control system may be adversely affected.
The malfunction indicator lamp on the instrument cluster may come on. If this happens, contact your Toyota dealer for service.

There's no sticker saying that you should use octane boost, so you'll probably void your warranty.
