This week I hooked up my 5'x8' flat-bed trailer to my 2025 LC LC for the first time, and some of the light circuits aren't supplying voltage to the 4-pin connector to the trailer. The trailer's running lights work (brown wire and white ground wire), but the trailer's turn signals and hazard lights (yellow and green wires) aren't getting any power from the LC. All of the fuses labeled tow are good, so I took the vehicle to Toyota who diagnosed it as a bad trailer light ECU. They ordered a replacement, but didn't know if there was one in the US.
They gave me a repair sheet with a list of DTCs related to IGR voltage, Actuator supply voltage, Lost communication with steering angle sensor module, Lost communication with body control module. The codes sound serious, but the service dept said it's safe to drive without a trailer. I've driven almost 4k miles and wouldn't have noticed a problem if I hadn't checked the trailer lights.
Anyone else have this problem?
