After ordering and being told that the Method 318's are on backorder until January, I started to look around again and found the Raceline Rouge 758 series. They made a new offset size specially for the LC. I went with the 18x8.5, 6x139.7, 35mm offset. There is about .5" poke. Tire is size is BFG Ko3's 275/70/18's. Very happy with the results. Raceline is sister company to Nomad. Wheels are currently on sale for $259.

I like the looks of the wheel but only a half inch of poke? Is that from the outer edge of the thin fender flares on the โ€˜58?

It looks like the poke is increased 54mm (2.1โ€) over the โ€˜58โ€™s OEM configuration. Without measuring, I wouldnโ€™t have assumed that thereโ€™s 1.5โ€ of clearance to spare (ie before the OEM tire pokes out from the fender flare).

Wow, this is good to see! I have some Japanese wheels on order in 18x8.5, +30 offset, for 275/70/18 tires. Been wondering what it'll look like, so this gives me a great visual. I like it!

Are they bead grip like the Methods or just regular fitment rims?

I have the exact same wheel and tire package on my Ice Cap 1958. I just put them on a week ago. I obviously like how it looks. ICON Wheels has a video on how an 18x9 +40mm is the perfect wheel size. The have created a wheel but it is back ordered until May. A 18x8.5 +35mm is actually pulled in 1mm from the lip and gives you more clearance on the back side. A 275 tire rim width recommendation shows that 8.5" in the middle which is ideal.

I like that rack I am thinking about getting one but I don't think I would use it much and it would mostly be for looks so I just can't decide on if I want to pay that money for looks.

This 3/4 Victory 4x4 roof rack was $700+. For the price and look, i think it was worth it. It makes little to no wind noise.

Did your 1958 have access points for the roof rack with bolts factory installed? Or did you have to buy the bolts separately?

The roof rack came with bolts that easily bolted on to existing access points.
