Hi Folks, new member from the Dfw Texas area. Stepping into the Land cruiser fold with the 1958 Chameleon color 'aka' meteor shower. Still a chevy tahoe loyal but with a must replace before 75K odometer mile guideline when it comes to that brand. Not a stranger to Toyota either - thanks to those "Buckets" in the 80s & early 90s....
.... what a beautiful time to really think of it now. Putting extra foam pad over busted seats , leaking rear windows, push-start second gear trick, banging on the alternator, messing with plug cables, not really knowing what you were doing but with all confidence knowing that reliable sucker will never let you down.
Highly disappointed that the new LC does not offer a non-hybrid model, but the old school seats, the minimalist interior and just the near old school look of clustered cables under the hood of the 1958 makes it something worth having.
