I'm confused, my dealer told me that my Land Cruiser was built and on the ship. It will arrive May 8th. Why does it take 6.5 weeks to get here?

LC 250 Manufacture and Delivery Time That seems to be about normal from the most recent experience on this thread. That doesn’t really explain the why (or at least I can’t recall the whole content of the thread).

I’m going to assume between transit time, dock unloading, & putting it on rail transit eats up a lot of time. Then it has to wait in line for the port installed options unless your dealer was willing to take those off for you.

it takes between 23 left coast(depending on stops) to 30 days right coast. Then at the port it stays about week or more depending on options. After that if it is truck delivery about 6 days, if train then who knows.
My experience:
On boat Dec 17
At Port Jan 16 (right coast)
At dealer Jan 29 (via truck)

mine is suppose to be in USA on April 1st at dealer May 8th

Mine was build around mid November and it arrived January 6th of this year
