New 2002 Land Cruiser owner question?

Hi group, I just purchased my first Toyota, a 2002 Land Cruiser. I have a dial that I am not sure about what it does. Can someone identify it for me?

I’m not entirely sure, but I think that this was a blank/auxiliary switch location in later model years. I think that the diff lock dial was in this location in previous years before they changed it to a button on the center stack. I’m guessing that a previous owner installed this to control some aftermarket functionality that they added.

I was thinking the same thing. Looks like a bass control knob for a aftermarket amplifier. Not sure though. Welcome to the forum!
