Just wrapped up a much-needed road trip from Florida to North Carolina, looping back through South Carolina and Georgia. Spent a few days near Wilmington, where I took the Land Cruiser to the beach to test Sand Mode—airing down to 20 psi made easy work of the deep sand. Mia and Hollah, our rescue pups, had a blast on their first beach trip!

Finished off in the North Georgia mountains, tackling part of the Backcountry Discovery Route BDR-X Chattahoochee-GA. This 350-mile loop weaves with the Georgia Traverse, mixing graded forest roads, two-track, and scenic backcountry pavement under the dense canopy of the Chattahoochee National Forest and alongside some stunning white water creeks. This is a way underrated area at the southern end of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Wound our way through the small towns of Clayton and Helen, GA, exploring great restaurants and breweries along the way!
