Mine gets a "brushed" auto car wash at least twice a week.

We always use a car wash, no issues, but as you may have read on one of my posts, I NEVER follow a mud-encrusted vehicle through.

I believe the last time I used a car wash was 1983. I lost an antenna and a windshield wiper in the process. Apart from touch ups and spraying down the undercarriage with a wand car wash, I have been strictly hand wash ever since.

Dark colors are prone to swirls over time, and while some car washes are better than others I haven’t chanced an automated wash for a long time. Part of me enjoys hand washing, so I really don’t mind the experience of going over things by hand. There is something to be said for showing your vehicle some love and using products that help it look its best long term.
