Loose hose

Hey everyone. This is my first post on the site. Just got my ’25 LC a few days ago. As I was poking around all the compartments and cubbies I came across the loose house in the photos. It’s in the rear battery compartment and looks like some kind of drain hose. It seems like it should be connected to something. Anyone know what this is?

Battery vent hose, should be connected on the side of the battery.

Sure is, its in his picture and the hose connects to the side of it,

It’s a battery vent/breather tube. It’s important to ensure that this is installed correctly in order to vent potentially toxic or explosive gases (e.g., hydrogen) to the outside of the vehicle. This is particularly important given the fact that the battery in the Land Cruiser is in a confined space INSIDE the vehicle.
