Beware Guys. How easily LC250 security can be compromised. I thought this unit was behind the unit. Probably time to have 8mm Plate around the Car Security Unit having connectors and cable tie flow thru. Damm Thieves are quick to study.

A sound deadener containing butyl sticky rubber would be a nightmare, and while at it throw 2mm steel plate in there, luckily we don't have to worry about it.

Reminds me about 20 years ago I had to wire in a switch that I hid that would need to be switched before the motor would turn. Will I have to go to these lengths again?
Hopefully they’re not looking too hard to steal these in Houston.
This was a worry of mine when I had my sport bike as well.

The average professional car thief takes less than 30 seconds across all brands makes and models to steal a car. If they want it they are going to take it with few exceptions. The LC is no different, although probably a little less prone to be stolen right now as after market OEM parts aren't in huge demand yet.

The video just educated more potential or newbie thieves on how to steal our cars, instead of only a selected few "pros" know about it now every wanna be thief or kid on the internet knows how to steal this car.

I had my friends in Johannesburg using HALTLOCK system for his Nissan. Here is the overview. As South Africa is bed for thieves stealing cars.

HaltLock™ device offers a groundbreaking approach to stopping vehicle theft with its fully integrated mechanical locking system. Unlike traditional methods, it embeds its immobilizing mechanism directly into the drivetrain, ensuring your vehicle stays right where you parked it. Once activated, this mechanical setup physically blocks any movement, providing robust security. Its straightforward design simplifies installation, whether in new vehicles or as an aftermarket addition.

Operating independently of the vehicle’s electronic control unit (ECU), HaltLock™ relies on a standalone remote or smartphone for its core functions. This separation from the vehicle’s electronic systems was a key focus from the start, potentially making it immune to electronic tampering techniques that target modern cars.

That seems pretty good.
Couldn’t a kill switch work, basically killing power to ignition separate from the key/fob/security system?

Yup, this wont allow to roll, the trans is completely cut off. That is amazing tech stuff
