I painted my front bumper caps and lower “skid” panel to look more like the higher trim on my 1958.

Very easy. A couple bolts and push clips and then pull straight out, it is held in by a bunch of clips. I’ve replaced the driver front wheel arch molding on my 1958 after damaging it. The difference is in the mud guards. The 1958 mudguards will not work with the fender flares. If you want to swap out the fender moldings for OEM flares they can be bought online for about $800, which is a lot for pieces of plastic that add ½”. I’d go aftermarket before doing that. NYTOP has some, they are 2” of flare.

Not yet. Not in a rush, pretty sure some guys will want wider flares in the future. I also have the JDM mud flaps to got with those OEM flares.

I know the back are definitely different. They have an additional mounting point up at the top and go up about 3-4”higher. They are molded to match up with the fender flare/molding, so I assume they are molded differently between the two styles in the front, but can’t confirm. Going to the OEM JDM mudflaps would alleviate the issue, look and function better, and likely be similar cost to the rigid mudguards.

The mud guards for the 1958 fit on the FE/Premium/LCLC flares. So basic pictures of mine. The rear flare and mud guard just needs simple hole relocating on the top. They are NOT perfect but you have to look close at both the front the rear to notice. I pulled my fronts because I went with GX550 side steps which I got $100 for the pair and lights in the them. Got the flares for $500, easy 20 minute swap.

You can maybe zoom in the pictures. Pic #3 zoom in for the front. This is before I went with the GX550 side steps. If you want I can get you some close ups of the rear flaps and maybe hold up for some pictures the front.
