I'm new here and new to owning a Land Cruiser. I recently replaced my 2012 Ford F150 with a 2024 Land Cruiser 1958 Edition and so far, I love it! I was skeptical about the 4cyl engine, especially after driving a V8 truck for 12 years but I'm been happily surprised so far with the LC's performance. I'm not off road as much as I'd like to be but often go on the road less traveled for my photography work and for camping and it's nice to know I have something that's up to the challenge. I also love having a 4 wheel drive for the winter driving conditions we experience in Colorado.
As far as customizations go, I've only owned it a couple months so haven't done everything yet. I had the dealer arrange to install Katzkin leather seats and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. And today I'm having ceramic tint and a partial PPF protectant on the front end and door edges installed. A little further down the road I will replace the stock tires with some all terrain tires and install nerf bars.
I'm just here to share my affection for the LC and to learn and see what other people are doing/saying. I am glad I ran across this forum!
