Hi all. First time post here!
I’m currently fixing up a 2004 120 series LC.
I’ve removed the body because I plan to galvanise the chassis. I also planned to redo the bodywork and interior which are both in very (very) poor condition.
I’ve done some research and for a similar price as the bodywork and interior repairs I could pick up an LC5 with a corroded chassis but excellent body and interior.
Do you guys have any concerns about doing a body swap from LC4 (2004) to LC5 (2003-2005)? There are a couple of extra features and differences on the donor car which cause some concern.
- 4WD selector appears different will it work with my current chassis, and drivetrain?
- Cruise control
- Adjustable suspension maybe?
- Different head unit
- Sun roof
Aside from this, I’m guessing it should be a simple swap but any input/advice would be great. The extra spec of the LC5 would be a big bonus also.
Thanks a lot
Patrick
